Rutherford Check-Raises "The Grinder"

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

With 18,000 in the pot on a flop of {5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, both Daniel Fuhs in the big blind and Timothy Rutherford in the hijack checked. Action was on the third and final player in the pot, Michael Mizrachi, who bet 9,000. Fuhs quickly folded and Rutherford took about 30 seconds before announcing a pot-sized raise. Mizrachi folded and the dealer stood up, signifying the end of the hand as hand-for-hand play continues.
