Roberti Eliminates Lam

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Benoit Lam open-shoved and Roberto Roberti reshoved on the button. The blinds folded and the players tabled their cards.

It was a typical flip situation, Roberti holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} against {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} for Lam who lost the flip to be eliminated from the tournament after Roberti hit a pair of aces on the board.

It folded to the small blind player who raised to 250,000 and Vinodkumar Paddolkar moved all in for 1,900,000. His opponent went deep into the tank and ended up calling.

Vinodkumar Paddolkar: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
His opponent: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Paddolkar was in good shape for a double up, which he did after the board gave {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Hung Fades Royal Flush, Eliminates Opponent

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On a flop of {6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Spades} Christopher Godfrey put out a large stack of chips of a variety of colors for a big bet. Dinh Hung moved all in over the bet and Godfrey snap called.

Hung had top set with the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} but had to sweat it out vs the royal flush draw as Godfrey held the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}.

The turn was a {6-Diamonds} to give Hung a boat to make the straight and flush draws useless meaning only the ten of spades could save Godfrey but the river came the {7-Hearts}, beautiful for Hung and disappointing for Godfrey as he was eliminated.

Amnon Filippi and Robert Borick were both all in pre-flop with short stacks and Steven Van Zadelhood decided to call as he put a stack of chips in the middle.
