Day 3 and Final Day of Event #80: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha Begins Today at noon and only 47 Players remain of the 1,250 that entered on Day 1.
This event could well become the story of a player winning their first WSOP bracelet as there are only five World Series of Poker gold bracelet winners left of the 47 remaining players. Gary Bolden is second in chips with an impressive stack of 2,100,000, who is only behind Francis Rusnak (2,334,000).
Bolden finished Day 1 with almost exactly an average stack coming into Day 2 with 91,200 in chips, but his stack throughout the day was slowing building and really grew near the end of the day when he eliminated Shaun Deeb, getting the money in with a massive draw and hitting. Bolden is no stranger to the WSOP as he has $268,838 in earnings and two WSOP circuit rings, but will be looking to ship his first coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
The five remaining players looking to earn more WSOP jewelry are Sebastian Langrock (1,246,000), Steve Sung (734,000), Ayaz Mahmood (531,000), David "ODB" Baker (515,000), Ankush Mandavia (250,000).
Day 3 will begin at noon and play down to a winner. The levels will continue to 60-minutes, with a 15-minute break after every second level and a 60-minute dinner break after the 6th level at approximately 6:30 p.m. The average stack is 638,265 chips and they will be restarting on level 21 with blinds being 8,000/16,000 with a 16,000 big blind ante only in No-Limit Hold'em.
