Alain Alinat Eliminated in 2nd Place ($82,312)

Level 27 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Alain Alinat

It's all over for Alain Alinat after he got the last of his chips in preflop. He opened to 160,000, Tu Dao three-bet and then the two players kept raising each other until all of Alinat's 525,000 chips were in the middle.

Tu Dao: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Alain Alinat: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Alinat was in with the best hand but failed to hold against Tu Dao after she spiked a nine on the {4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop. A {3-Diamonds} on the turn gave Alinat a flush draw and his rail called for a "diamond" but sadly for the Frenchman the river didn't oblige, with the {4-Hearts} landing instead.

Congratulations go to Alinat on finishing runner-up in the event, who will go home $82,312 better off as a result.
