Hands #29-31: Anderson Tops Tolpingrud

Level 38 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Hand #29: Fernando Karam raised to 1.7 million from the cutoff and James Anderson called from the big blind. Both players checked the {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop and then Anderson check-called a bet of 2 million on the {10-Hearts} turn. When the {j-Spades} completed the board on the river, both players returned to checking.

Karam showed the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Anderson tabled the {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for the same hand. Chop it up!

Hand #30: Nils Tolpingrud raised to 1.2 million under the gun and folded when Karam three-bet to 3.6 million from the hijack.

Hand #31: Anderson raised to 1.3 million and Tolpingrud called from the big blind. The latter check-called a bet of 1.4 million on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and then both players checked the {4-Hearts} turn. When the {a-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Tolpingrud checked and called a bet of 4.8 million. Anderson tabled the {a-Spades}{5-Clubs} and it was good as Tolpingrud mucked.
