Hunichen Shoves on Sarmiento

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The board was down {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts}, and with close to 120,000 in the pot, Chris Hunichen bet 100,000 from the small blind.

Steven Sarmiento went into thinking mode sat in the big blind and then raised to 250,000 close to 90 seconds later.

Hunichen then decided to put Sarmiento to the test and moved all in for 1,000,000.

At this point, Sarmiento sat with 350,000, went deep into the tank, and Hunichen remained motionless for close to two minutes as Sarmiento thought over his decision.

"One minute and I will make my decision," said Sarmiento as he broke his silence.

Another two minutes passed by, and Hunichen called the clock. When the Tournament Director gave Sarmiento 30 more seconds left to act, he looked at his cards for the final time, before conceding and passing them to the dealer.
