Holm Tells on Petzing

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Walking through Miranda room, Mike Holm grabbed the attention of PokerNews to recount a hand he and old friend Jim Petzing were in together a short while before.

It began with an open from Holm, with ace-queen, and another player flat called before Petzing called too. The flop was {6-}{4-}{2-} rainbow and after Holm checked, the player next to act bet 1,000, which Petzing raised to 2,500. This was enough to convince Holm to give up but not the inital better.

Heads up on the {5-} turn and it checked to Petzing who bet. His opponent re-raised him before Petzing moved all-in over the top. His opponent open-folded a set of fives, saying that Petzing must have a straight. Petzing obliged showing {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and joked he was "bored". Nevertheless, Petzing has improved his stack as a result.
