Vitha Eliminated by Carmona

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Satish Vitha
Satish Vitha

Matt Glantz opened to 24,000 from middle position and Danny Woolard called from one seat over along with Ron Carmona in the hijack and Satish Vitha in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Vitha bet 12,000. Glantz and Woolard folded and Carmona called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Carmona continued with a bet of 24,000. Carmona raised to 48,000 and Vitha three-bet, putting at risk all his chips. Carmona snap-called and the players revealed their cards.

Satish Vita: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Ron Carmona: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Vitha had turned a flush draw but Carmona had turned top pair with a better flush draw. The {q-Spades} river completed the board and Carmona raked in the pot with his pair of kings, sending Vita to the rail.
