Vieira Bubbles $10K Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Championship

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Joao Vieira was all in from the big blind for his last 1,000. Michael McKenna announced a pot-sized raise and the floor was called to figure out the amount. It was ultimately ruled that he was able to raise to 70,000 as if there was a full big blind in the pot. Everybody else folded.

Joao Vieira: {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Michael McKenna: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Vieira's eights and sevens were no good to McKenna's kings up, eliminating him from the tournament in 30th place as the bubble boy after over 30 hands of hand-for-hand play.

Wolansky First Player in the Money

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Steven Wolansky
Steven Wolansky

Steven Wolansky was one of the short stacks after the bubble and got it all in once Joao Vieira had busted. Both Brian Hastings and Andrey Zaichenko got involved as well and checked it down on a {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} board.

Hastings showed {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a pair of queens, Zaichenko flipped over {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for two pair, and while Wolansky rolled over a great looking double-suited rundown with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, it wasn't worth more than a king-high on this board. Wolansky cashed for $15,237.

Feldman and Flanders Felted

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Timothy Flanders
Timothy Flanders

Timothy Flanders and Joel Feldman were just eliminated in succession in a pair of all-in preflop situations.

Feldman was all in with {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} against the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} of Connor Drinan. Drinan flopped aces full and Feldman was unable to hit a low on a runout of {k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} after and was eliminated from the tournament right after the bubble burst.

On an adjacent table right afterward, Flanders got all in with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} against Randy Ohel's {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The board came {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Ohel made a full house, jacks full of threes to crack Flanders' aces and send him to the payout line.

Bohlman Eliminated by Strebkov

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

With the bubble out of the way, players are getting their chips in left and right. Scott Bohlman was one of the players who was all in and Denis Strebkov was the one covering him.

Scott Bohlman: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Denis Strebkov: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Bohlman's queens couldn't overcome Strebkov's aces on an {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board, where Strebkov also made the nut low. Last year's Mixed Big Bet bracelet winner finished in 26th place and cashed $15,237.

Miller Doubles Through Strebkov

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller

With several bets in front of each player, Ryan Miller shoved all in on a board of {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} in a blind-versus-blind situation against Denis Strebkov. His final bet was for 110,000 and Strebkov made the call.

"Wheel?" Strebkov asked as Miller was tabling his hand.

Miller showed {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} to confirm the wheel and Strebkov showed two of his cards briefly before tossing his cards to the muck and asking for the total amount to pay. Miller began to combine all the chips in front of him for an overall count which came out to be 260,000, bringing his stack to over half a million chips at present moment.

Vengrin Takes Chunk Off Hastings

Matt Vengrin
Matt Vengrin

On a {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} board, Brian Hastings bet 110,000 and Matt Vengrin called. The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Hastings continued for 150,000, receiving a snap-call from Vengrin.

Hastings tabled {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Vengrin quickly revealed his {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades} to win the pot.

Vitch Doubles Through McKenna

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

On a board reading {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, Chris Vitch bet 30,000 from the cutoff and was check-raised to 180,000 by Michael McKenna in the small blind. Vitch three-bet to 300,000 leaving 5,000 behind.

"Just like Joao I left myself a little behind," Vitch said, referring to Joao Vieira being left with 1,000 on the bubble. The table laughed. McKenna put him in and he called.

Vitch tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the dealer turned over the {j-Spades} river as McKenna, whose hand was tabled for a moment, turned his hand over and mucked it while wishing Vitch a nice hand.

Viatcheslav Ortynskiy
Viatcheslav Ortynskiy

While the rest of the field was preparing for the three-table redraw, Viatcheslav Ortynskiy got it all in on the button against Matt Vengrin in the big blind.

Viatcheslav Ortynskiy: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Matt Vengrin: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to give Vengrin a wheel and end Ortynskiy's attempt to win a second bracelet in 24th place.
