Ross Wins Six-Way Limped Pot

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A player limped in from early position and started a chain of limps behind from Mike Ross in middle position, Kate Hoang in the hijack, and Dylan Linde on the button. The small blind completed and the big blind checked, taking action six ways to a {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. All six players checked and the turn came {k-Clubs}

Action checked to Ross, who bet 6,000. Four players folded, with only the original limper from early position continuing. The river was {q-Diamonds} and the player in early position checked. Ross bet 11,000 and quickly got a fold, taking down the pot without a showdown.

Palarino and Guagenti Chop One

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Nick Guagenti raised to 2,500 from early position and received calls from Jeffrey Palarino in the small blind and the player in the big blind. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and action checked to Guagenti, who made a continuation-bet of 5,000. Palarino and the big blind called.

The turn came {10-Spades} and action checked to Guagenti again, who fired a second shell for 17,000. Palarino called and the big blind folded. The river came {7-Spades} and Palarino led out with an announced pot-sized bet of 56,500. Guagenti called.

Palarino tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a pair of aces with the nut low and Guagenti showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a set of jacks and the two chopped the big blind's money.

Landherr Sends One Home

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Jeff Landherr opened to 2,600 from middle position and received calls from the player on the button as well as both players in the blinds. The flop came {7-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} and all four players checked. The small blind led out on the {6-Hearts} turn for a pot-sized bet of 10,400 and Landherr was the only caller.

The river came {q-Clubs} and the small blind checked. Landherr bet 31,000 into a pot of 31,200 and the small blind raised all in for less than a minimum raise. Landherr called and tabled {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for the nut low and two pair, queens and threes with an ace kicker. His opponent, sitting in the one seat, looked confusedly back at his hand before pushing it directly into the muck pile and getting up to leave the tournament area.
