Elezra Scoops One

Level 3 : 200/300, 0 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Eli Elezra limped from under the gun, creating a string of limps for the two players to his left, the latter of which was Erik Seidel. Action then folded to Jason Mercier, who completed his small blind. The player in the big blind checked and five players went to a flop of {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Mercier led out for 1,100 and received a call from only Elezra. Both players checked a turn of {k-Diamonds} and Mercier checked again on the {a-Diamonds} river. Elezra bet 1,600 and Mercier thought for a bit. He eventually asked for confirmation of the number before reluctantly throwing chips in the pot.

Elezra tabled {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a flush and an eighty-six, both of which Mercier affirmed were good as he mucked his hand resulting in a scooped pot for Elezra.

There was around 2,600 in the pot on a board reading {3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} in a three-way pot between Alex Foxen in the small blind, Bernardo Dias in the big blind, and Kate Hoang on the button. Foxen fired on the turn for 2,400 and received two calls. The river came {7-Clubs} and Foxen fired again for 9,000. Dias thought for a few seconds and put in chips to call. Hoang thought for a few moments as well before following suit.

Foxen tabled his hand briefly but Dias showed {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the wheel and Foxen quickly turned his cards over and mucked them. Hoang also mucked her hand and Dias took in the entire pot.
