Brian Hastings was on the button and opened to 225,000. Nick Schulman called from the small blind and Joe Hachem came along as well, defending his big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and all three players checked.

The turn was {k-Diamonds} and Schulman checked. Hachem bet 550,000 and Hastings folded. Schulman put in a check-raise to 1.8 million and Hachem called all in for a total of 1.25 million.

Joe Hachem: {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Nick Schulman: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Hachem found himself up against Schulman's nut straight and better flush draw in need of a low to split the pot. The river came {9-Clubs} and was no help to Hachem as he found himself eliminated in third place from the tournament.

The remaining two players are taking a short break prior to get chip counts before the commencement of heads-up play.
