Gillard Cant Win a Flip

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Robert Rodriguez and Luc Gillard got all their chips in the middle preflop for roughly 162,000 and Gillard was the one at risk.

Robert Rodriguez: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Luc Gillard: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

They were in a race but that was quickly changed on the flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and the turn {7-Clubs} and river {j-Diamonds} were no help for Gillard.

Limayo Doubles Through Strom

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Edgardo Limayo open-jammed under the gun for 145,000 and was called by Christopher Strom from the cutoff.

Christopher Strom: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Edgardo Limayo: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Limayo didn't like that Strom had live cards but both players completely whiffed the {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop.

Storm would pair his queen with the {q-Hearts} turn but it also gave Limayo the nut-flush draw.

Limayo was able to hit running hearts to stay alive as the river came the {6-Hearts} and he doubled through Strom.
