Boatman Out

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Barny Boatman was eliminated in the last hand before the break. There had been a cutoff open to 6,000, which Boatman called before the Kyle Miaso upped it to 25,000. The cutoff folded but Boatman called.

On the {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop, the Miaso continued for another 25,000, which was just enough to put Boatman in and he made the call.

Kyle Miaso: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Barny Boatman: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Boatman needed to hit against the Kyle Miaso's pocket aces but it wasn't to be with the {2-Diamonds} falling on the turn and the {q-Spades} on the river and the two-time bracelet winner hit the rail. Meanwhile, Miaso added the chips to his stack, which he has already doubled in the first two hours of play.

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Scott Clements and Ivo Donev are both in good shape with more than double the 81,000 average stack. Joao Vieira has also had a very productive start to the day but it's been a bad start for Paul Sokoloff who is down to ten big blinds.

Split It Up, Simon Survives Two All in Calls

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

On a flop that read {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} Howard Simon was already all in and was called by both Thomas Carnes and Daniel Strelitz.

Carnes and Strelitz checked the action down on a {10-Clubs} turn and a {5-Clubs} river.

Simon showed {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for trip sevens and took the high. Carnes had {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for bested trip threes, but chopped up the low with Strelitz who tabled {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}.
