With about 30,000 in the pot and the board reading {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}, Julien Martini checked from the small blind and Michael Glick bet 18,500 from the big blind. Martini called.

The river was the {q-Clubs}, Martini led for 18,000 and Glick called.

Martini showed {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for top two pair, but Glick tabled {9-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a queen-high straight to win the pot.

Baker Takes it With a Ten-Eight

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Eli Elezra raised under the gun, and David "ODB" Baker made it three-bets next to act. Talal Shakerchi made it four bets in the big blind, and Elezra folded, saying to Shaun Deeb, "Shaun, this is something that you'll never see; I raise-folded!" Baker called.

Both Baker and Shakerchi drew one on all three draws, and action checked all the way through. Baker showed {10-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and Shakerchi mucked.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Dan Smith bet 12,000 on a {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} board from the small blind, and Dan Cates potted it to 48,000. Smith tanked for a few minutes before making the call.

Cates instantly flung his hand into the muck, to a chorus of laughter from the table. Smith revealed just the {5-Diamonds} from his hand before mucking the rest of his hand.

"That was a great idea," Cates said, before declaring, "I had the spice!"

Yitzhaki Quarters Yahyaei

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Four players invested four bets each preflop, and Roman Yitzhaki bet from the small blind after the {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop fell. Majid Yahyaei called in the big blind, as did Jason Mercier from under the gun, and Brian Rast on the button.

Yitzhaki bet again on the {10-Hearts} turn, and Yahyaei raised. Mercier and Rast folded, while Yitzhaki called.

On the {4-Hearts} river, Yitzhaki check-raised a bet from Yahyaei. Yahyaei called, showing {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} for trip tens and a low, but Yitzhaki showed his {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the same high and the nut low to quarter Yahyaei.
