Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Anthony Zinno raised from the cutoff, and was called by Majid Yahyaei on the button, Roy Thung in the small blind, and David Benyamine in the big blind.

Action checked to Zinno on a {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, and he bet. Only Yahyaei and Benyamine called. Benyamine checked the {4-Clubs} turn to Zinno, who bet again. Yahyaei and Benyamine called again. On the {6-Clubs} river, action checked to Yahyaei, who bet. Benyamine raised, which chased out Zinno, and Yahyaei called.

Benyamine tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for the nut straight, and Yahyaei showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} for the nut low to chop the pot.

2-7 Triple Draw

Phil Ivey defended the big blind and took two cards, with Phil Hui taking two as well in the cutoff. Ivey came out betting and Hui called. Ivey was pat and Hui took one. Ivey bet again and Hui called. Draws stayed the same and Hui mucked to the final bet.

Then, Julien Martini raised and Ivey called on the button. Martini took one and Ivey three. Martini bet and Ivey called. Each took one and then action got heavy with Martini betting, Ivey raising, Martini three-betting and Ivey four-betting. Martini called. Both patted and Martini check-called but mucked to a wheel.

Oppenheim Makes a Seven

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Razz

Robert Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} / {x-}
Matthew Wood: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{j-Clubs} - folded on fourth street
David Oppenheim: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} / {x-}

Robert Mizrachi completed with the {6-Diamonds}, and Matthew Wood made it two bets. David Oppenheim called, as did Mizrachi. Oppenheim bet fourth street, and Mizrachi raised. Wood folded, and Oppenheim called, then check-called a bet on fifth street. Oppenheim took back the lead on the last two streets, and Mizrachi called him down.

"Seven," Oppenheim said before showing {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and Mizrachi mucked.

Sammartino Finds a Fold

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

A pot of around 40,000 sat between Matthew Ashton and Dario Sammartino. The board read {q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Sammartino checked out of the big blind. Ashton bet 60,000. Sammartino tanked a couple of minutes, intermittently studying an unmoving Ashton and shaking his head as he looked at the board.

Finally, the Italian flicked in his cards.

Christopher Vitch
Christopher Vitch

No-Limit Hold'em

Michael Mizrachi raised to 2,100 from under the gun, and Chris Vitch called in the small blind.

Vitch check-called a bet of 5,000 on the {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop, and both players checked the {9-Hearts} turn. Vitch bet 11,000 on the {4-Spades} river, and Mizrachi said, "This is the part where you say 'good call,' right?" before tossing in calling chips.

Vitch turned over {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and Mizrachi was a pip lower with his {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Vitch took down the pot, saying, "I don't bluff, I think you're thinking about someone else," with a grin.

Friedman Pays Sion

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Stud

Elior Sion and Prahlad Friedman both had ace-high boards on sixth, but it was Sion betting and getting called.

Elior Sion: {x-}{x-}/{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Spades}
Prahlad Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
