Hennigan Bets Big On the River

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Stephen Chidwick bet 12,000 from the big blind on a {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} board, and John Hennigan raised to 52,000 from the cutoff. Julien Martini tanked for a few minutes on the button before letting his hand go, and Chidwick called.

Chidwick checked the {8-Clubs} river, and Hennigan bet 103,500. Chidwick immediately folded.

Bonomo Can't Find a Fold

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Razz

Paul Volpe had the best of the boards against Justin Bonomo with three to a seven and then four to a seven on sixth. Bonomo called the final three streets, though he looked less than thrilled on the river after about a 30-second tank.

Paul Volpe: {4-}{2-}{10-}/{3-}{2-}{7-}{a-}
Justin Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{2-}{10-}{6-}/{x-}

Seven-perfect was a winner for Volpe.

Vitch Takes a Bow

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Chris Vitch
Chris Vitch

2-7 Triple Draw

After each putting in three bets before the first draw, Josh Arieh drew one from the big blind, Mike Gorodinksy drew two from under the gun, and Chris Vitch drew two from the hijack. Arieh bet and both opponents called.

Arieh was pat on the final two draws, with Gorodinsky drawing two, then one, while Vitch drew one both times. Gorodinksy and Vitch called a bet on the second draw, and while Gorodinksy folded after the final draw, Vitch raised. Arieh called, and Vitch fanned {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the nuts. Arieh mucked, then mockingly clapped for Vitch for getting there against his pat hand. Vitch smiled and pretended to bow in response.

Martini Climbing Back

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

From the button, Julien Martini bet the end with around 40,000 already in the pot and {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} on the felt. Michael Glick seemed torn in the small blind and eventually put in a call. Martini turned over {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for top two and took the pot.

After being down under 30,000 a bit ago, Martini has given himself a fighting chance again despite remaining well below the starting stack.

Mike Wattel
Mike Wattel

Limit Hold'em

Mike Wattel raised on the button, and Anthony Zinno called in the big blind.

Zinno check-called a bet on the {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, then led out on the {q-Clubs} turn. Wattel called.

The {k-Hearts} fell on the river, and Zinno bet again. Wattel raised, Zinno made it three bets, and Wattel made it four bets. Zinno called, only to muck after being shown {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} by Wattel.
