Esposito Makes Correct Read But Can't Improve

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Andrew Brown opened five-handed from the hijack and was three-bet by John Esposito in the cutoff. Brown four-bet and Esposito capped it at five bets. Brown called and took one card on the first draw while Esposito stood pat. After the draw, Brown check-raised a bet from Esposito, who called the raise.

Brown stood pat on the second draw and Esposito showed a black {8-} that he decided to break. Brown fired and Esposito called. On the final draw, Brown stood pat once more and Esposito took one again. Brown checked. Esposito looked down at his new card and checked behind.

Brown tabled {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and Esposito showed {7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}, mucking the fifth card while correctly exclaiming he had broken his worse eighty-seven on the draw.
