The Sneaky Wheel Doesn't Get the Grease

2-7 Triple Draw

After the second draw, Dan Cates bet from the small blind, Chris Vitch called from the hijack, and John Monnette called from the cutoff.

Only Vitch opted to take a card on the final draw, as both Cates and Monnette stood pat. Cates checked, as did Vitch, and Monnette paused for a moment before checking back as well.

Cates fanned {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the wheel, Vitch mucked, and Monnette shook his head and showed {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, saying, "Of course you do," towards Cates.
