Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Alex Livingston: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}
Denis Strebkov: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} / {x-}
Dan Zack: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} (folded on sixth)

The {4-Hearts} was the bring in and Denis Strebkov completed. Dan Zack and Alex Livingston called and play continued three-handed.

On fourth street, Zack checked to Livingston, who bet. Strebkov and Zack both called. Action checked to Strebkov on fifth, who took his turn betting. Zack and Livingston called.

Strebkov was first to act on sixth after making a pair of jacks with his up cards and continued with another bet. Zack folded and Livingston made the call. On the river, Strebkov checked. Livingston fired and Strebkov looked him up.

Livingston tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for aces up and Strebkov mucked, shaking his head in slight disbelief.

Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Action folded to Gerard Rechnitzer who put in 50,000 from the cutoff. He had intended to make a raise but the floor ruled with the oversized chips that it would be a call. Yuri Dzivielevski raised from the small blind and Rechnitzer called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Dzivielevski checked. Rechnitzer bet and Dzivielevski called, bringing the {7-Diamonds} turn. Dzivielevski again check-called and the river came {2-Diamonds}. Dzivielevski checked once again and Rechnitzer fired another bet into the pot. Dzivielevski announced raise and Rechnitzer called.

Dzivielevski tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}, having had the second nut low and a double gutter on the turn that had improved by the river to a wheel, good to scoop the pot and leave Rechnitzer short.
