Eric Wasserson Eliminated in 16th Place ($75,789)

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Sam Soverel opened to 100,000 and Cary Katz called. Eric Wasserson was in the big blind and moved all in for 285,000.

"This is outrageous," said Soverel, thinking for a while before folding.

"Wow!" said Katz. "Why are you playing? I was hoping to get some more money!"

Katz called with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} but was behind the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} of Wasserson.

"Pick me, dealer!" he said and the king in the window saw him take the lead. The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Spades} with the river ultimately improving Katz to two pair, sending Wasserson to the rail.
