Becker on the Rise

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Johannes Becker has dragged to nice pots since the redraw, more than doubling his stack in the process.

The first hand saw him tangle with Calvin Anderson with the action picked up on the last draw with a substantial amount of Becker's chips already in the middle. Both players stood pat, Becker bet and Anderson called only to look into Becker's {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

A few moments later, Becker three-bet from the big blind against Mike Gorodinsky's button-raise. Gorodinsky called and drew two while Becker was drawing one.

Becker bet, Gorodinsky called and they both pitched one on the second draw. Gorodinsky called one more bet from Becker and Becker patted the last draw while Gordo still needed one. Becker fired one more shell and Gorodinsky folded.
