It's Good... for Schwartz

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

David "ODB" Baker raised his button, Luke Schwartz called in the small blind and Gary Benson joined from the big, leaving himself with 7,000.

Schwartz and Baker changed two and Benson needed one. The betting round was checked.

Schwartz improved to one-card draw, Benson peeled one as well and Baker kept drawing two. Benson moved all in and both Schwartz and Baker called.

Schwartz still needed one and Baker two while Benson stood pat. Schwartz and Baker checked it down.

Schwartz was drawing to {8-}{7-}{6-}{2-}. Benson showed nine-eight.

"It's good," Schwartz said, but Benson got it misinterpreted.

"I mean, it's good for me, I'm sorry," Schwartz apologized for the ambiguity. He flipped a {3-} to confirm Benson's knockout while Cary Katz and Hanh Tran doubled their short stacks on the neighboring table.
