Poor Runout for Metalidi

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Artem Metalidi raised to 500 in early position and was called by Gilbert Montoya in the cutoff along with the big blind. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the big blind checked to Metalidi who bet 1,000. Montoya called and the big blind folded.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and Metalidi fired out another bet of 2,500. Montoya quickly called and the {j-Hearts} on the river put four hearts on the board. Metalidi thought for a moment before checking and Montoya announced all in. Metalidi had just over 4,000 chips remaining and decided to let his hand go.

Great Start for Berkey

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Matt Berkey in a previous event
Matt Berkey in a previous event

Matt Berkey has split his time at the felt in the opening levels as two different tables and they both appear to be productive thus far. Starting the hand with over 30,000, Berkey called an under-the-gun raise of 700 from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Berkey led out for 1,000. His opponent called and the {a-Clubs} landed on the turn. Berkey tossed in another bet of 2,000 and his opponent still called to see the {5-Spades} on the river.

Berkey fired a third bullet of 3,900 and his opponent looked him up. Berkey turned over {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for two pair and his opponent conceded the pot.

Early Exit for Yoon

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Andrei Konopelko raised it up to 500 in middle position and Brian Yoon defended from the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Yoon check-called a bet of 700 from Konopelko.

The turn brought the {2-Clubs} and Yoon checked again. Konopelko fired out another bet of 2,400 and Yoon stuck around to see the {a-Spades} on the river.

Yoon checked for the third time and Konopelko splashed in a bet of 20,000. Yoon only had roughly 9,500 chips remaining and eventually made the call. Konopelko turned over {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush while Yoon tossed his {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} across the table before leaving the tournament area.
