Arieh Cracks Parker's Aces to Send Him to the Rail

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Brock Parker, whose stack has not been among the tallest through Day 2 but who nevertheless has been solidly pursuing Day 3, has been eliminated in 29th place.

He raised in mid position to 24,000 called by the button and both blinds. On a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, Parker bet 40,000 when it was checked to him, called only by small blind Josh Arieh. The turn paired the three ({3-Diamonds}). Arieh checked again, and Parker moved all in for around 150,000, finding himself snap-called and drawing to two outs.

Parker: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Arieh: {k-Spades}{3-Spades}

The {2-Hearts} brick on the river crushed Parker's hopes of a fourth WSOP bracelet in this tournament, but kept Arieh's hope for a third very much alive.
