Berilgen Takes a Pot at Showdown

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Jason Berilgen opened in the hijack, John Esposito called from the cutoff, David Halpern stuck around from the small blind and Derek McMaster defended his big blind.

The dealer spread out {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} on the flop, action checked to Berilgen who pushed in a bet and Esposito made it two. Action folded to Berilgen, he called and the dealer flipped an {8-Hearts} over on the turn.

Berilgen check-called a bet from Esposito, the {q-Hearts} landed on the river and both players checked. Berilgen showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for aces up and Esposito chucked his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Berilgen.
