McNeil Continues to Spin Up a Stack on Day 2

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Calen McNeil

Tom Love opened from late position and Calen McNeil called on the button. Eli Elezra defended his big blind, the dealer spread out {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} on the flop and all three players checked to the {j-Diamonds} turn.

Elezra threw in a bet that was called by both Love and McNeil. A {q-Clubs} landed on the felt as a river card, action checked to McNeil, he bet and both of his opponents chucked.

McNeil grinded a shorter stack for most of the day and really started to pick up traction after the last break, pulling in multiple pots. The Victoria, BC native took down this very event in 2013 for his only WSOP bracelet and looks more than determined to do so again.
