Gerace Doubles With The Ladies

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Chris Bjorin opened with a raise to 3,200 from late position, Alec Berger called sitting directly to his left. Action folded around to Joseph Gerace who moved all in for 8,900 from the big blind. Action was back to Bjorin who four-bet to 28,200 and Berger folded.

Chris Bjorin: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Joseph Gerace: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Bjorin needed to hit a nine to eliminate his opponent but the {k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop gave him more outs drawing to a flush.

The turn came the {3-Clubs} and Gerace needed to dodge any nine or diamond to stay alive.

Gerace was able to get the much needed double as the river fell the {8-Clubs} and he raked in the pot.
