Benjamin Underwood Eliminated in 5th Place ($74,435)

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Benjamin Underwood

Hand #42: After Marco Bognanni limped and Robert Mitchell called from his small blind, Benjamin Underwood checked his option from the big blind. After all three players checked the turn on a board reading {j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Mitchell checked again and Underwood put out a bet of 900,000, which got a call from Bognanni and a fold from Mitchell,

On the {6-Spades} river Underwood led out again, this time for 3 million, and was met with a raise to 5.2 million from Bognanni, which would put Underwood all in if he made the call, which he did.

Benjamin Underwood: {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Marco Bognanni: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Underwood had turned the straight, but unfortunately for him, he was drawing dead to Bognanni's flopped full house. Amazingly, this was Underwood's 2nd final table in two weeks. He previously finished in 4th place in Event #9: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack at this year's WSOP.
