Bognanni Still Chipping Up

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After Jon Turner raised to 22,000 from the button, Peter Kvisthammar then three-bet shoved his remaining stack. Marco Bognanni, one of the chipleaders at the end of Day 1, asked for a count. When the dealer confirmed 217,000 Bognanni made the call and Turner folded.

Peter Kvisthammar: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Marco Bognanni: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

There was a {j-Clubs} right in the window, but unfortunately for Kvisthammar, it was followed by {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, which left Kvisthammer needing one of the remaining tens left in the deck to make a straight. The {k-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river completed the board and sent Kvisthammar to the payout line and Bognanni to the top of the leaderboard.
