Crivello's Overpair Holds

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Craig Crivello raised to 1,300 in early position, was called by Sebastien Mathys from the cutoff, and the two men went headsup to a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Crivello continued for 1,800 on the flop and 2,100 on {j-Spades} turn, and both times Crivello made the call. After both players checked the {4-Diamonds} flop, Crivello tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Mathys tabled {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, which showed that Crivello's overpair definitely faded some outs on the very draw-heavy board.
