Kelly Making Some Great Deals on the Bubble

After an early position raise to 25,000 from Ryan McBride and a late position call, it was Matt Kelly who shoved his final 75,000 in from the big blind. McBride four-bet to 125,000 to get the hand heads-up.

While they had to wait until all tables during hand-for-hand were completed, Kelly got involved in some side betting with his table mates. McBride proposed "twenty bucks to the loser?" which Kelly quickly accepted.

Man Pham got the player at risk an even better deal shortly after. Kelly already had revealed he was holding kings, while McBride slipped that he had sevens. Pham then offered $500 to Kelly's $200 in case the sevens would win. It was a great deal for the man from Fort Worth, Texas, who snap-accepted the favorable odds.

After all tables were done, the cards went on their backs.

Ryan McBride: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Kelly was briefly scared of a possible straight before seeing he had the best of it. Since the kings held up, he reached into his pocket to pay Pham the $200, and McBride the $20.

"You know what? That's a great deal because I doubled up," Kelly stated.
