Palmer Runs Kings into Quads, Says It's "Nothing Too Serious"
Level 2
: 100/300, 300 ante
Sanguine Brit Tim Palmer has taken an early loss with pocket kings, but managed to limit the damage inflicted by Ronald Czyzynski and still has over 40,000 in chips. He told us he saw a flop of and the hit to his stack was inevitable, but compared to some of the early action seen in the Brasilia room, this was positively tame.
Elsewhere, British and Irish players pepper the field, with Jeff Kimber, Katie Swift, Andy Hills, Gediminas Aleksandravicius, Yuriy Boyko and Mick McCloskey all taking part in Day 1d.
