Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Hand #250: Roman Korenev raised to 380,000 on the button and Jared Koppel called from the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} and both players checked to the {5-Hearts} on the turn. Koppel led out for 420,000 and Korenev called to see the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Koppel checked this time and Korenev checked it back. Koppel scooped the pot with {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Hand #251: Koppel raised it up to 380,000 and Korenev defended. The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Korenev check-called a bet of 250,000 from Koppel. The {5-Hearts} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {a-Clubs} on the river. Korenev led out for 650,000 and Koppel let his cards go.

Hand #252: Korenev made it 380,000 to go and Koppel stuck in a three-bet to 1,560,000. Korenev four-bet all in for 10,200,000 and Koppel snapped him off.

Jared Koppel: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Roman Korenev: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Korenev was in deep trouble with Koppel holding the larger pocket pair. However, the flop of {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} vaulted Korenev to the lead with a set of sevens. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing and the {9-Hearts} on the river ensured Korenev of a huge double up.
