Hands #217-221: Backdoor Trips for Korenev

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Hand #217: Jared Koppel raised to 380,000 and Roman Korenev defended. On the {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Koppel bet 260,000 and Korenev called. The turn was the {a-Hearts} and both players checked.

The {j-Spades} river brought the spade draw in and Korenev bet 700,000. Koppel considered it for a bit but laid it down.

Hand #218: Korenev made it 380,000 and won the hand.

Hand #219: Walk for Korenev.

Hand #220: Korenev made it 380,000 again and Koppel called this time. The {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop went check/check. The turn {3-Spades} saw a 420,000 bet from Koppel and Korenev called. On the {3-Clubs} river, Koppel now bet 1,230,000 and Korenev snapped him off with the {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for backdoor trips. Koppel had {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for just queens and treys and forked over the chips.

Hand #221: Koppel raised to 380,000 this time and Korenev called. An all-spade flop of {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} was spread; Koppel continued for 420,000 and Korenev folded.
