Alexandrov Finds an Unlikely Sweat on the Turn

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Vladimir Alexandrov opened to 35,000 in the hijack and Preston Lee shoved all in from the big blind. Alexandrov instantly called off his stack of 323,000 and was in great shape heading to the flop.

Vladimir Alexandrov: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Preston Lee: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Alexandrov all but clinched the hand already. However, the {q-Diamonds} hit the turn and Lee was still alive. "Outs," he said but it was only a singular out that would win him the pot. The river was the {8-Spades} and Alexandrov held on for a double up.
