Think Long, Think Wrong

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jared Koppel opened to 26,000 in early position and Timothy Miles three-bet to 85,000 on his left. The action folded back to Koppel who called to see a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Koppel check-called a bet of 75,000 from Miles and the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Koppel checked again and Miles checked it back. The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Koppel pushed out a bet of 245,000. Miles sat still for three minutes in thought as the table rustled around him. Miles finally leaned back in his chair but continued to think for nearly another five minutes.

Eventually, Miles slid out the chips to call and Koppel turned over {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a turned set of nines. Miles mucked his cards and Koppel climbed into the seven-figure mark.
