Park Sends Calamusa to the Rail

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Hui Park raised under the gun and Pierre Calamusa made the call, followed by the player in the big blind.

{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} appeared on the flop and after the big blind checked, Hui continued for 900. Calamusa re-raised to 2,300 and the big blind player folded. Hui quickly called.

Things turned bad for Calamusa on the turn {10-Hearts} when he bet 4,000 after Hui checked, leaving him with around 3,500 chips behind. Hui thought about his move for a minute and bet 10,000, snap-called by Calamusa.

Holding {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Calamausa was in desperate for a double up, facing {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} in Hui's hand and a {8-Diamonds} fell on the river to eliminate the French player from the tournament.
