Wigg Down to Scraps but Doubles
Anton Wigg was down to just 1,200 when he managed to get a shove through from the cutoff to now play a stack of 1,800.
''The under-the-gun player raised to 700 and another player called in middle position. I called with pocket sevens from the small blind and the big blind called as well."
"The flop then came eight-seven-deuce with two diamonds. It checked to the button and he bet 1,600. I just called and the gentleman under the gun three-bet. I got all my money in with my set of sevens but he had a set of eights and now about 100,000.''
While Wigg was telling how he lost most of his stack he got it in with against the of a player at his table.
The board ran out and Wigg managed to secure a double up to stay in the game. He now has 15 big blinds which he can still spin up with the amazing structure.
