Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 0 ante

Robert Valden

Robert Valden had about 6,000,000 left after he had doubled up to three big blinds and he got those chips in the middle with {j-Hearts}{j-}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} against the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} of Andrew Donabedian.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Valden thought for a second he won the hand with his three-of-a-kind nines but he then realized that Donabedian had a full house with treys and deuces.

Valden was chipleader for quite a while but he busted out in third place cashing for $92,672.
