Donabedian Gets a Shove Through

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 0 ante

Andrew Donabedian opened with a pot bet of 2,100,000 and big blind Tom Franklin defended. The flop fell {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Franklin checked. Donabedian pushed his last 4,000,000 in the middle and that was enough to make Franklin get out of the way and take the pot without showdown.

Double Up for Valden

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 0 ante
Robert Valden
Robert Valden

Robert Valden bet pot as he slid a stack of green 100,000 chips worth 2,100,000 to the middle and he was called by Corey Wright on the button. Both players in the blinds got out of the way.

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Valden put his last 1,650,000 in the middle and Wright called with the words ''I got you.'' as he immediately tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

Valden did have a lot of outs with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and he managed to hit the river after the turn was the {9-Hearts} and the river was the {a-Diamonds}.

Small Pot to Ivan

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 0 ante

It folded around to small blind Alexandru Ivan and he laughed before he looked at his cards. He limped after he took a peek and said ''my friend!'' to Corey Wright in the big blind who let out a little laugh himself.

Wright checked to see the {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop appear and both players checked to see the {7-Spades} turn. Ivan bet 600,000 on the turn and he was called by Wright.

Ivan bet another 1,000,000 on the river and that was enough to make Wright fold.

Alexander Condon Eliminated in 9th Place ($16,971)

Alexander Condon
Alexander Condon

While Michael Bartov all in on the other table, Alexander Condon made it 2,100,000 to go and Alexandru Ivan called on the button. Tom Franklin folded the small blind, later claiming to have folded {a-}{a-}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

On the {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, the rest of the money went in.

Alexander Condon: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Alexandru Ivan: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The turn {10-Clubs} and river {q-Clubs} gave Ivan the king-high straight to win and Condon missed out on the final table as well.

Michael Bartov

With the flop reading {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Michael Bartov got it all in and Todd Dreyer called.

Michael Bartov: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}
Todd Dreyer: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Bartov had outflopped the aces of Dreyer and remained ahead after the {3-Clubs} fell on the turn. The river {a-Clubs}, however, gave Dreyer a set of aces and Bartov was eliminated.

Dreyer Doubles Through Bartov

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 0 ante

Todd Dreyer raised from the cutoff to 1,750,000 for a pot-sized bet and it folded to Michael Bartov in the big blind. Dreyer had only 550,000 behind but Bartov just called the bet.

The dealer spread out the {9-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and Bartov put Dreyer all in and he quickly called.

Todd Dreyer: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Michael Bartov: {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out with the {5-Spades} turn and the {7-Clubs} river and Dreyer doubled through the Swede.

Eric Sain
Eric Sain

Corey Wright raised to 1,000,000 on the button, Eric Sain three-bet to 3,500,000 from the small blind, leaving himself not even 2 million behind, and Wright called. On an {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Sain stuck his remaining scraps in and Wright called.

Eric Sain: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Corey Wright: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Sain was miles ahead with the kings and nut flush draw but the {5-Hearts} on the turn was one of the few outs Wright had, improving him to a wheel. The {9-Diamonds} on the river didn't turn it around for Sain, who walked out in 11t place.
