Vener Running Away with the Lead

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

There was a raise to 350,000 from the hijack and Scott Vener just called from the cutoff. Mario Mosbock was on the button and jammed all in for around 2,400,000. The initial raiser got out of the way but Vener called to put Mosbock at risk.

Scott Vener: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Mario Mosbock: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop fell {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Vener stayed out front with his pair of nines. The {9-Spades} landed on the turn and Vener made a set of nines to leave Mosbock drawing dead to the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Vener pulled in another big pot to extend his chip lead.
