Mike Parekh raised to 35,000, and two-time bracelet winner Humberto Brenes who was in the next seat over and on the short stack, contemplated his next move. He then stacked his remaining chips, putting one of his trademark shark card protectors on the top, and pushed in his remaining 116,000 in chips.

Action folded back around to Parekh, he made the call and the players tabled their hands. The board ran out {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}, giving both players full houses, but unfortunately Parekh held the bigger pair, which left Brenes shark-bitten and sent to the rail.

Humberto Brenes: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Parekh: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
