Huge Pot for Lafaye

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

On a flop that read {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} a player in early position moved all in into two other players with larger stacks.

Glenn Lafaye called the all in from the cutoff and the player on the button also called the all in.

Lafaye and the button checked it down when the turn came the {2-Diamonds} and the river the {6-Diamonds}.

Lafaye showed the {9-Diamonds}{9-} while the button showed the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for bested top pair. The all in player simply said "ace high" and tossed his cards into the middle before leaving the table and Lafaye added to his stack.

Iwata Binks Two-Outer

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Yosuke Iwata was in the third position, three-betting two 2,200 after the player under the gun had made it 700. The action folded to the small blind who could four-bet to 7,000. Iwata shoved for 8,400 and the cards were turned up as the small blind called.

Iwata trailed with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} versus {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} but he saw what he needed on the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Spades} and flop and the remaining runout {10-Spades} and {6-Hearts} confirmed his double.

Tang Outmuscles Two

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

With a flop that read {3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Spades}, after standing up to look at the cards and chip stacks, a player in early position made a bet of 1,100 into two players.

One player called, but British player Danny Tang was in late position and put in a hefty raise to 5,200 which folded out both of his opponents relatively quickly, as table-mate Mitchell Towner looked on.

Hubbs Hits One of His Outs

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

On a board that read {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades} a player had moved all in. On his immediate left, Mike Hubbs was thinking over the decision. He stood up to survey the board.

"I'm behind but I call," said Hubbs as his opponent flipped over the {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. "Wow that's a lot more outs than I thought!" he exclaimed as he turned over his hand, the {4-Spades}{3-Spades}.

The river fulfilled those unexpected outs when it came the {k-Spades}.

"And there it is!" Hubbs said and he pulled in the big amount of chips.

Alfa Doubles Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Dave Alfa was in the second position with the action caught after the {3-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. A player in the big blind had bet 1,200 and Alfa had a 5,000 chip in front of him. The action was on the big blind who put Alfa at risk for 6,400 total. Alfa quickly threw in his remaining chips.

Alfa had a top pair and a straight draw with {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and he was in good shape as his opponent rolled over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. The {4-Spades} turn secured Alfa at least half of the pot and he faded a chop on the {a-Clubs} river.
