New Table, No Problem for Albertson

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Cory Albertson, who still had his chips in racks from moving to a new table, raised to 180,000 from early position, only to be met with a three-bet to 375,000 from Michael Matrone next to act. Action folded back to Albertson, who called.

Both players checked the {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, and Matrone checked out of turn when the {7-Hearts} fell on the turn.

"I haven't acted," Albertson informed Matrone, before betting 400,000. Matrone called.

Albertson verbalized a bet of 1.3 million when the {5-Diamonds} hit the river, and Matrone called, rolling over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Albertson had that beat with his {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}, however, and shipped the pot.
