Welcome to Event #12: $1,000 Super Bounty No-Limit Holdem, one of the two live one-day events where a WSOP gold bracelet will be up for grabs right away!

At 11 a.m. local time, cards go in the air in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for the twelfth's tournament of the series. With levels of just 20 minutes, the action is expected to move quickly throughout, with players encouraged to gamble it up even further thanks to a $300 bounty awarded for each takedown.

All players will receive 20,000 in chips to start, blinds will kick off at 100/100, and late registration is open for 12 levels, which is until about 3:40 p.m. local time. The players will have a 20-min break every 6 levels and a 75-min dinner break after the 18th level of play (≈ 5:40 p.m.). Bounties cannot be redeemed until after 7:00 p.m. on Day 1.

The defending champion in this event is Mike Takayama who pocketed $198,568 for his efforts last year. Takayama made history as the first Filipino to win a WSOP bracelet, beating a large field of 2,065 entries total who gathered a prize pool of $1,858,500.

Many notable pros took their chance in this event last year including Phil Laak, Mike Watson, Greg Raymer, Phil Hellmuth, Kevin Eyster, Scott Davies, Mohsin Charania, Jordan Polk, Shaun Deeb, and many more. An elusive gold WSOP bracelet and the honor of one of the firsts 2019 WSOP bracelet winner at the end of the night should no doubt lure many players in to try and start off their summer with a bang.
