Simon Deadman raised to 40,000 from the hijack and Daniel Strelitz three-bet to 160,000 from the small blind. Randall Emmett quickly folded in the big blind and Deadman tanked for a while. In the end, Deadman announced a bet of 1,000,000. Strelitz snap-called with the bigger stack.

Simon Deadman: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Daniel Strelitz: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} with the ace in the window to give Strelitz the higher pair.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} which didn't change the situation and neither did the {3-Clubs} on the river for Deadman to lose the flip.

Both stacks were getting counted and the dealer and floor both confirmed Strelitz had 1,106,000 behind while Deadman had around 1,000,000. With all of this confirmed, Deadman said his goodbyes and made his way to the payout desk to collect $17,460 for finishing in 13th place.
