Heads Up Shannon Shorr & Daniel Strelitz

The players have returned from their break and are ready to battle it out for the bracelet and the first-place prize of $442,385. With just over 200 big blinds on the table, the stage is set for what could be an epic battle for the 2019 World Series of Poker Event #11 bracelet.

Ognjen Sekularac Eliminated in 3rd Place ($186,050)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ognjen Sekularac
Ognjen Sekularac

Hand #102: Daniel Strelitz raised to 120,000 from the button and Ognjen Sekularac three-bet to 490,000 in the small blind. Shorr thought for a while in the big blind before announcing that he was all in. That got a quick fold from Strelitz, putting Sekularac to a decision for his tournament life. The Serbian took his time before calling to put his tournament life at stake.

Sekularac {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Shorr {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades} to give Sekularac a pair but it also gave Shorr outs, and the turn was the devastating {q-Hearts} to give Shorr Broadway and put Sekularac in deep trouble, only having outs to a full house on the river.

The river fell a harmless {2-Clubs} to dash the Serbian's hope of winning the WSOP bracelet and send us heads-up for the title, with Shannon Shorr, the overnight chip leader, just marginally ahead of Daniel Strelitz. Both men have powered through the field in impressive fashion.

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ali Imsirovic
Ali Imsirovic

Hand #97: Ognjen Sekularac raised to 130,000 from under the gun and Daniel Strelitz three-bet to 500,000 from the small blind. Ali Imsirovic was sitting in the big blind and decided to shove for his last 555,000. Sekularac called and so did Strelitz.

The flop came {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Strelitz continued with a bet of 350,000 for Sekularac to fold and Imsirovic had been isolated.

Ali Imsirovic: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Daniel Strelitz: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Strelitz had flopped top pair, so Imsirovic needed another nine or running cards to stay alive.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} which paired the board up but didn't change the situation and neither did the {a-Hearts} on the river as the Bosnian 2018 Breakout Player of the Year at the recent Global Poker Awards was sent to the payout desk in fourth place to pick up $129,018.
