Hand #101: John Cynn opened for 2.2 million under the gun and Joe Cada defended big blind. Cada check-called 2.4 million on the {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and the {3-Clubs} arrived, pairing the board. Cada led out for 5.1 million and Cynn tanked awhile before raising to 10.5 million. It was Cada's turn to tank but after about two minutes he called. The {2-Spades} brought four to a straight and Cada shoved after thinking over a minute.

It was for just over 15 million and he won the pot as Cynn folded immediately.

AU$2,500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool at The Star Sydney Championships This Winter

Celebrating a decade of Australian marquee poker action, The Star Sydney Championships boasts a Series Guaranteed Prize Pool of $2,250,000 this July.

The series features five huge guarantees with highlights including the $3,000 ($2,800 + $200) Main Event and the $20,000 ($19,000 + $1,000) High Rollers, set to attract the southern hemisphere’s poker elite.

The Star Poker has established itself on the international poker market as the only Australian location for The World Series of Poker Circuit and stays in the spotlight this winter with The Sydney Championships in 2018.

The Star Sydney Championships runs from 17 July to 6 August, 2018.

The flop came {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Dyer bet 1.825 million and Cynn called.

The turn brought them the {9-Diamonds}, Dyer now checked. Cynn did the same.

The {9-Hearts} on the river completed the board. Dyer now bet 5.35 million and Cynn folded quickly.

Hand #100: Cynn raised to 2.2 million from the cutoff and Dyer called in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} and both players checked through to the {4-Clubs} on the turn. They both checked again.

The river completed the board with the {8-Spades}. Dyer bet 1.825 million and Cynn folded.

Hand #97: Michael Dyer raised to 2 million on the button. John Cynn defended big blind but check-folded to a continuation-bet on {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Hand #98: Dyer opened for 2 million. Joe Cada shoved all in for 26.35 million in the next seat. Cynn folded quickly in the small blind. Tony Miles needed some thinking time in the big blind but folded after about a minute. Dyer quickly followed him.

Hand #94: Cynn raised to 2.2 million from the button and both Tony Miles and Manion called in the blinds.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} on which they all checked through to the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Miles checked. Manion bet 2.7 million and both Cynn and Miles folded.
