Lybaert Nearing the 10M Mark

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

In the last hand before the break, Alexander Lynskey opened from the hijack and Bart Lybaert defended his big blind. The flop was {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Lybaert check-called 50,000 from Lynskey.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and Lybaert opted to lead out for 400,000, more than the size of the pot. Lynskey called the bet in position.

The hand caught the ESPN crew's attention and the camera's swooped in as the rest of the field already went on break. The river brought the {8-Diamonds} and Lybaert checked to Lynskey. The Australian cut out a bet of 675,000, and Lybaert quickly flicked in two chips to indicate a call.

Lynskey turned over {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for Broadway, but it was second best as Lybaert revealed {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the nut flush to scoop up the sizable pot and extend his lead even further.
